Glyceamic Index Information

Why do diets work, and why they don’t.

We are all searching for that perfect diet and nowadays bookshelves are full of the many different diet books available. But why is it that some people do very well on certain diets and some people suffer badly on the very same diet? And then again, that person could do very well on another type of diet.

The answer is very simple. We are all very different. We have different genetics, we have different metabolisms, we have different health issues, we have different training/fitness programs, we have different lifestyles, we have different perceptions, and we have different goals. Phew!!

With all this variation with us all, how could one diet suit us all? Even if you have done well on a particular diet, it is very unlikely to get you in optimal health because it can only generalize on your health.

Unfortunately a diet book can only generalize. For a diet plan to be successful in our current market it needs to be sexy and appeal to a wide audience. Taking a truism and making a diet book from it is great business but cannot and never will work for the vast majority of us. And this is why we keep searching, and this is why only a individually tailored nutrition plan could help you achieve your goals in optimal health.

PT-nutrition set out to do exactly that, to give you a tailor made, individual program so as to give you the best chance to achieve optimal health and achieve your goals.
